Idaho has no separate provider approval process. CE course providers are approved when their first course is approved. Your first
course application will need to be submitted on paper. Once you are an approved provider of CE in Idaho, and established as a Sircon
provider, you will be able to submit applications and maintain course information online.
Courses are approved for a two-year period. During this two-year period, the provider may present the course (offerings) as often
as they wish.
Idaho does not require providers to submit a specific schedule of class offerings to the Department; however, if you do create
offerings online through Vertafore, you must contact the Department in the event that a specific offering is cancelled.
Providers are subject to Idaho regulations for CE as specifically set out in the Idaho Administrative Code
(IDAPA) 18.01.53. It is strongly suggested that providers
familiarize themselves with this Rule. This document outlines course criteria, classroom monitoring requirements, course approval
processes, course maintenance requirements, and other topics regarding CE in Idaho.
