The Idaho Department of Insurance announces a change of exam vendor from Pearson VUE to PSI effective July 1, 2014. Pearson VUE will continue to administer the licensing exams for individuals registered for appointments occurring through June 30th 2014.
Online reservations are the most efficient way for candidates to schedule their examination. Candidates may register for exam dates occurring July 1st and after through www.psiexams.com or by phone: 800-733-9267 beginning on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. If you currently have an exam scheduled through Pearson VUE for a date after June 30th, please contact Pearson VUE at 888-204-6218 to cancel that reservation and request a refund. You will then need to contact PSI to schedule your examination for the date, time and location of your choice (access www.psiexams.com for the candidate information booklet ).
Exam sites for PSI will be available in Boise, Twin Falls, Pocatello and Coeur D’Alene. In addition, each of these sites will also offer fingerprinting services. Exams for Idaho will be available through any PSI site in the U.S., if a candidate residing outside of the state of Idaho wants to take an ID examination. A method to complete out-of-state fingerprinting services will also be provided. Please see the PSI Candidate Handbook for additional information.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Links and program information will be posted to the Idaho Department of Insurance website in the Producer Individual pages under Licensing Services at www.doi.idaho.gov in the next few weeks.
