Merger

Idaho is a Uniform State, which accepts the Uniform Certificate of Authority Application (UCAA). Please complete the Corporate Amendments Application found at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Web site.

(A) Merger Between Idaho Licensed Companies:

    1. UCAA Section VII - Merger of Two or More Foreign Insurers

    2. Idaho Specific Requirements:

Complete the Information Statement form online.

(B) Merger Involving Companies Not Licensed in Idaho:

    1. If a licensed Idaho insurer merges into an insurer not licensed in Idaho, please refer to the instructions for a voluntary withdrawal of an Idaho licensed company.

    2. If a non-surviving insurer is not licensed in Idaho, please notify us of the completion of the merger in writing. The UCAA corporate amendment application is not required.

Fees:  There is no fee for these filings.

Please indicate the effective date of the Merger in the state of domicile in your return correspondence and submit all the documents to:
