Managing General Agents must be renewed before July 1st.*

The renewal process requires a reporting of funds for claims handled for the previous year, along with premiums collected for the previous year. If necessary, you may attach an increased bond or bond rider—bonds must reflect 10% of the amount of funds for claims handled and premiums collected (total funds handled) for the previous year per Idaho Code, §41-1503 (3). If not already reported to the department, you may also attach any new agreements, as required by Idaho Code, §41-1505.
