Continuing Education Credit Hour Requirement
Effective January 1, 2004, the continuing education (CE) requirement for resident producers is 24 hours to be earned within each two-year licensing period. At least 3 of the 24 hours must be insurance law and/or ethics. A list of approved CE courses can be found by clicking on course catalog. Courses marked with an asterisk (*) qualify for the law/ethics requirement in whole or in part as indicated by the number preceding the asterisk. The penalty for completing the CE requirement after the license renewal date is as follows:

| 31-60 days | $200 fine |
| 61-90 days | $300 fine |
