SHIBA Volunteers
Senior Health Insurance Benefits Advisors provides free and unbiased information, counseling, and assistance regarding Medicare and health insurance issues to Idaho seniors and their caregivers. SHIBA is a volunteer-oriented organization, offering individual counseling at no charge.
Won't you join us in making a difference in the lives of our seniors by volunteering to become a SHIBA counselor? Each volunteer is trained in the nature and scope of Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage, and long term care insurance issues. Our volunteers are trained in providing resources for seniors to gain access to the information they need in order to make informed buying decisions.

Expenses:
Volunteers are reimbursed through RSVP for mileage and receive liability insurance.
